Last fall my neighbor asked me where we purchased our Coachman camper from and I stated Hilltop RV in Escanaba, He then asked me why not local and I informed him that the service department at Hilltop RV was the most recommended in the UP and Northern Wisconsin. Our neighbors then purchased a nice 31 foot 5th wheel last fall on closeout at Hilltop RV.
 
This spring another couple that we know from  purchased a new trailer/camper from Hilltop RV based on my recommendation as to the BEST service in the UP.
 
After purchasing our Coachmen in May of 2007, we needed servicing in June for a rubber replacement strip to prevent water from entering the camper so I scheduled an appointment and while camping in Gladstone I had the camper repaired to my satisfaction and we went on our way back home to Kingsford to enjoy a summer of fun and NO rain in the camper because of the service department.
 
Last month, I noticed that the tires were cracking or splitting so I called Denise at Hilltop RV and she immediately requested that I send digital pictures of the tires and a short  letter with the applicable tire information. After receipt of my e-mail dated April 26, 2008, Denise proceeded to request an authorization to replace these four Nanco tires and then called me the following week stating that the NEW replacement tires were being shipped on April 29, 2008 and that we should receive them with 3-5 business days.
 
The tires were received on Tuesday, May 6 and I had them mounted, balanced and installed on Wednesday, May 7.
 
A recall tag number was requested and the old tires will be shipped this week from Bubloni Collision Center in Iron Mountain.
 
I just wanted to thank Denise for the expert job in taking care of a customer in a highly efficient manner. 
 
Similar to what I have informed other potential buyers of campers in our area, Hilltop RV is still the number#1 dealer in the UP and northern Wisconsin.

Just wanted to let you know that so far our experience with Hilltop has been great. We just purchased a new Cougar from your dealership and everyone was extremely helpful and answered any and all questions. Both Chris and Cory were great to deal with.

 

Your internet web site is one of the reasons we chose Hilltop. We are about an hour away and we were able to do a lot of research on your site before we made the trip to talk with you. Cory was great at getting back to us with ideas, ballpark prices and trade in values which helped us narrow our search.

 

Also Kathy was excellent at making sure we were comfortable and was both helpful and informative at giving us different options to work with.

The day we came to your lot, I had NO thoughts of buying a trailer.  Because of the way your staff treated us, the price, & the unit itself.... well, the rest is history!  Now Barb and I  are enjoying camping again.  Because of our health we never thought we would camp again.  The unit we bought is sooo easy to hook up, tow, and set-up.   Any chance we get to promote Hilltop RV Superstore-- consider it done.

I would like to send my thanks to Hilltop RV for having employees like Kent who went out of his way to help with a plumbing problem in my concession trailer at Mattson Lower Harbor Park after your store closed for the day.  Not only did he continue to listen to my problem on the phone, he diagnosed the problem and drove to the park and fixed it for me!  You people are so lucky to have dedicated employees like Kent.  This kind of thing doesn't happen everyday.  I travel the midwest all summer and I must say this is one of the kindest things I have evidenced on my travels.  I must say with a person like this, as an employer myself, I'd have to give this man a raise and make sure that he understood how extremely valuable he is and will continue to be to the company!  Pay the man, keep him happy and a valued employee!

    I just thought I would take a moment to let you know how much we enjoyed our trip and to thank you for your help every step of the way from my initial questions about renting to questions about paperwork and procedures to your hands on demonstration of how everything works.  
    The time leading up to a vacation can be very stressful, worrying about all the details and trying to make all the necessary elements come together.  But thanks to you, the trailer rental was not one of those worries.
    My family and I had a wonderful time.  Camping with the trailer gave us quality family time like no hotel could.  And thanks to a thorough walk trough of all the features and operations of the unit everything went as smoothly as if I were an old pro.  I'll definitely be thinking of renting again in the future because of this very positive experience.

I would like to thank Patti Britton for her fine service rendered to me while I was buying some truck camper tie down equipment for my ford F-250, there was a problem with the shipping and I was due to leave on a camping trip that had been planed for months. So, Patti sent the items over night and this was an expense to your company above and beyond normal operations. What I'm getting at is that your company really knows the meaning of customer satisfaction and that means a lot to me due to the fact that a lot company's both large and small tend to hide behind these words and don't deliver what they say.

I will always buy from Hilltop RV and will always tell anyone I know about your company and how good I was treated, and that Hilltop delivered no questions asked this is a great way to do business and I'm very thankful that I know of a place where the customer really gets a great deal.

Thank you very much for taking the time to show us around yesterday. I want to apologize for not getting back to either of you or Kathy by the end of day yesterday like I had said we would. By the time we got back to Green Bay (and my forgetfulness of the time zone change) it was after hours. My apologies!

We discussed the trailer at length yesterday, and did stop and look at a few more on the way home. Though your company provided us a very attractive price – we realize we are uncomfortable with purchasing a trailer at this time. With the building of our new home – we really do not want to take any money from our down payment on the new home for a trailer we will only use a few times this year. So we have decided to pursue purchasing a trailer next year. Once we determine what our house payments will be and what we can afford . This will better enable us to look at “newer” trailers.

We will definitely keep your facility in mind when we do decide to purchase a newer trailer. I liked the friendliness, selection and policies of Hilltop. Our experience with Hilltop was a comfortable and relaxed, as compared to our local dealers with their hard sell/up sell approach.

HilltopRV Superstore and Patti - what a piece of gold way up north. 

First, a comment on the website - easy on the eyes, easy to navigate and easy to find what one is shopping for.  So many storefronts on the web make it so difficult to find or use their site, but not HilltopRV.  A website, at least for me, needs to capture me quick or I'm off to another site.  The design of the HilltopRV Superstore is done with the customer in mind - just excellent. 

Secondly, if one has to call, it is so rare to find a real person who really cares, who will walk more than the "extra mile" for you, and is sooooo easy and pleasant to work with, and, does what she says she will do.  As often experience,  the voice on the other end is just that, a voice, and an impersonal one, at that.  Not at HilltopRV, Patti makes you feel like she has known you for years, that you are special, and, man, can she get it done!!  Just a short conversation and you know you are dealing with a hard working, caring, honest, and trustworthy individual. 

I'll keep coming back for my RV needs, for sure!
